A small office for

Every project begins as a drawing at 1:100, on paper. Section and elevation follow from it, never the other way round.

We prefer a single dominant material per building. Earth, brick, limestone or concrete: the choice decides everything that follows.

Our workshop makes full-scale mock-ups of every detail that matters. A joint we have not held in our hands is not drawn.

Bolted before glued, laid before bonded. A building should be mendable by the people who live in it.
